Matrix Theatre Company presents Many Voices, One Detroit, a fundraising event to sustain our mission of teaching, creating, and sharing community-based theatre. We are excited to host the Detroit-themed event at the Detroit Historical Museum, a premier cultural institution, and we look forward to celebrating the positive impacts Matrix has in our community. Many Voices, One Detroit will include: --A strolling reception with Detroit-themed dinner and dessert stations, and open bar --A silent auction --A live presentation honoring Matrix’s transformative programs with a keynote speech by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Stephen Henderson --Selections from Matrix’s most recent production Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967, a devised piece generated from actual interviews recorded by Dr. Xavier Nicholas after the 1967 uprising in Detroit --Complimentary admission to Detroit Historical Museum exhibitions, including exclusive preview access to the Detroit 67 Exhibition --Complimentary parking Tickets for Many Voices, One Detroit: Patron Tickets are $100 and include the entire evening’s festivities. Arrival time for guests with Patron Tickets is 6:30 PM. Champion Tickets are $167 and include the entire evening’s festivities. Arrival time for guests with Champion Tickets is 6:00 PM. *Each Champion Ticket also includes one ticket to a private performance of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967 and an exclusive post-show afterglow reception featuring a talkback with the creative team. Please see FAQs for more information about these special shows.   FAQs What's the difference between Patron Tickets and Champion Tickets to Many Voices, One Detroit? The main differences between the two ticket types are cost, arrival time for the event, and access to the private performances of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967. Patron Tickets are $100 each, and arrival time for guests with Patron Tickets is 6:30 PM. Patron Tickets include admission to the Many Voices, One Detroit event, but they do not include tickets to private performances of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967. Champion Tickets are $167 each, and arrival time for guests with Champion Tickets is 6:00 PM. Each Champion Ticket includes admission to the Many Voices, One Detroit event, AND a ticket to a private performance of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967 and an accompanying exclusive post-show afterglow reception featuring a talkback with the creative team. These private performances are not open to the general public and are reserved for sponsors and Champion Ticket holders only. When are the private performances of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967, and how do I reserve my ticket for one of these performances? The exclusive private performances of Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967 are on Saturday, June 24 at 3:00 PM and on Sunday, June 25 at 7:30 PM. Each Champion Ticket holder is entitled to one ticket to one of these private performances, which also includes an exclusive post-show afterglow reception featuring a talkback with the creative team. Seating for each performance is limited and subject to availability. Reservations will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. Can I purchase a Many Voices, One Detroit ticket on the day of the event? No. All tickets to Many Voices, One Detroit must be purchased in advance by June 5, 2017. Are there sponsorship opportunities available to support Many Voices, One Detroit? Yes! We offer sponsorships at various price points, beginning at just $500. We value our sponsors and all sponsors receive special benefits, including tickets to the event. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket to Many Voices, One Detroit, and you must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol served at the event. Bartenders will be checking IDs at the event.   What are my parking options? Complimentary parking is included in the ticket price and is available in the Detroit Historical Museum parking lot, located adjacent to the museum. Entrance to the parking lot is off of Kirby Street.   What can I bring into the event? Bring whomever you like to the event! Just make sure they purchase a ticket in advance as we expect tickets to sell quickly. Outside food and beverages are not allowed into the event, but why would you want to bring anything with you? A delicious Detroit-themed strolling dinner and dessert reception along with open bar service is provided.   How can I contact the organizer with any questions? We're here for you. Have questions? Save a tree and don't print out your Many Voices, One Detroit ticket. You don't need to bring it with you to the event. We'll have a guest list with each ticket holder's name on it at check in.    Can I update my registration information? Sure! If you need to update your registration information, contact Molly McMahon, Matrix's Development and Communications Manager, at 313-967-0999 ext. 7 or at mmcmahon@matrixtheatre.org.   Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes. If for some reason you are unable to attend the event, you can transfer your ticket to another person. To transfer your event ticket to another person, please call  Molly McMahon, Matrix's Development and Communications Manager, at 313-967-0999 ext. 7.
